This guy was just cruisin’ down the sidewalk in our neighborhood, hundreds of yards from the nearest significant body of water. But after all the rain we've had, and all the dried mud on its shell, I guess everywhere was a significant source of water. Thanks for the ID, Kelly. Sorry I didn't have the patience to photograph its head extended to capture the red ear; s/he outwaited me.
