I have long understood why there are “food stylists,” because food is often very difficult to photograph accurately or realistically. That said, I'm surprisingly pleased with this cell phone shot of my plate at Cummare’s, where we had dinner with our neighbor-friends. A nice touch at this place? They always serve us limoncello after our meals…

Looks good. Substitute the pasta for gf and I'd be able to eat it. Hurrah for the limoncello, a great way to end a meal :)

The plate is also important in food photography and this one is good being white to contrast with the rich tomato sauce!
