These four chaise lounges are the first four to be in shade. So every morning the guy in the green shirt & white hat at the top put two towels on the first two and a bag on the table. And then he promptly disappears. For a half-hour. Hour. Or more. This was taken at 8:22 and he's in the vicinity, but he's not in a chair. His wife will never arrive before 9 a.m.
The other guy is staking out the next two and then he disappeared for a while.
I didn't have a horse in this race; I didn't want to start sitting by the pool as early as these people were actually in the chairs, but I still want to ask: Is it me or is this poor form?
It's like the parties that board Southwest Airlines flights. One of them pays the early-boarding fee ($25 or $30–50) and then they “save seats” for their non-paying mates. “My son is sitting here.” Uh, no; he's not. Your purse is sitting on the seat. Again, is it me, or is this bad form?
