Last morning; saying good-bye

When Clare's parents backed out of our driveway and [especially] our younger daughter was left crying standing at the living room window, we called it “Grandparentus interruptus.” Our grandson isn't old enough for that yet, but our granddaughter does get sad, though now she has an entertaining brother to distract her.

I remember crying when my uncle and family left after a visit.
