Killing time between beers and food [Travel day 1]

Spotted this couple as we were leaving a restaurant in Albany, New York.
She’s working on Wordle; he’s working on Quordle.

I recognized the screens because the kids got me started on these, and Octordle. (There are two variations of the Daily Octordle: Sequence and Rescue.)
» She has tried TONIC & SONIC. Can’t check past puzzles, but perhaps the answer was CONIC.

Update. Older son-in-law’s mom got me going on SquareWord, too. I now have six word puzzles to do every day. I still do Sudokus (no surprise), but my favorite “flavor” is “Killer Sudoku,” implemented elsewhere as “Jigsaw Sudoku.”

@marlboromaam I still print the crossword puzzle from the local e-newspaper every day for Clare…

@rhoing Very thoughtful of you to do for Clare. My dad always worked the crosswords from the newspapers. He gave me the urge, but I buy the books and work them all before I start the next one.
