Found the owl again this morning. A hawk was making a lot of noise and I went to see what it was, and then saw the owl. It was being fussed at by the hawk.
Perfect view of his eyes through all the branches. I'd be making a fuss too if I spotted an owl! It'd be a whole lot of "OH LOOK!!"... and then the owl would probably fly off because I was too excited about seeing him.
First the hawk, now an owl! I'm quite envious! Would love to see an owl - the closest I've gotten is hearing one across the river - love the way you were able to get his eyes so well.
@lyndemc@fntngrma@milaniet Thanks all. I tried to get shots of the hawk today, but they didn't turn out quite as well. Surprised that the owl stayed in place, as there was a bus load of "special" folks that were being taken out for a walk. Lots of noise and yelling, but didn't seem to phase the owl.
