Flower and Seed Pods!

There's still a few flowers blooming and it appears that some are still sending out seed pods. These are just before blowing away.

According to this picture, it's still mid-summer! I like the milkweed seeds that have drifted into the flower. And what unique flowers too.

Denise, may look like a summer shot, but it's definitely early December. :-) I thought that this plant may be the one that produced the pods, but maybe not. I'll have to look again the next time I'm down there.

@rickster549 You know, I'm looking closer and thinking that yes, that different colored green is the pod that has produced the seeds. Obviously I'm not familiar with this particular flower because I didn't recognize it as one that could make these pods. Thanks for highlighting the details.
