@cmp@aglennc@rosiekind thanks Catherine, Anita and Rosie. Yeah, Anita, a friend of mine has a small pond in his backyard, and he's had the heron's attack several times. He had to put a net over it to keep the heron out.
@rickster549 The netting or wire is what those in our neighborhood have done with their koi ponds. The herons have kept coming, though less frequently, --- just hoping, I guess!
