Nervous Bluejay!

Finally got one of these critters on the feeder. They just seem so nervous when they are up there, and won't stay for long.

They are definitely one of the fastest birds we have in the yard - my husbands actually tried to anchor a peanut to make him stay long enough to let me get a shot - still haven't caught him at it. Nice shot.

Are the hawks you have around predators? Or are they just nervous birds anyway? He looks like he's watching out for something. Great shot.

@gilbertwood @irene111 @nickspicsnz Thanks Denise, Irene and Nick. Yeah, Nick, I believe that the hawks are predators, but have never seen one go after a Bluejay, not to say they dont.
