Mr Duck in the Lead!

Mr Duck had the lead in this race across the pond. Couldn't find what these were, but I'm pretty sure it's a fairly common one.

Yes, a male and female Hooded Merganser. Both have head crests that are erectable, but both have them down in the resting positition in this nice environmental shot.
