Strangely enough this beach had a 1 foot high wire fence along the far edge of its adjacent nature strip. We believe it was designed to keep penguins off the road. But then the beach is like this at low tide - very rugged for any penguin trying to make it home.
@casablanca Hi Casablanca - this coast line does seem to do exactly as you said - very wild and remote. We did a full day's drive - right around the North West corner - saw very few people and passed very few cars. Beautiful country side though. :)
@photobird Hi photobird - it's quite interesting how these tones convey that feeling you mentioned. In reality this is very jagged and rugged. Lighting seems to be everything. Thank you for your comment - it really made me think!
