@fbailey Hi FB. I'm glad you liked the Asian postcard. :) The Elements adventure has been very interesting. I ended up with the free 13 edition on one laptop and the free 2018 edition on the other. The 2018 is much easier to use ( the guided section is a different format which is really good ) and has a couple of extra tools which are handy. To change the background was just a couple of guided steps. I think I'm getting the hang of the Layers tool too - so that's good. One thing which I find really annoying (probably because i haven't found a shortcut!) is how clunky it is to zoom in or out - I'm used to just scrolling with the mouse. The quick version is really not much better than the windows 10 editing program so I've just been using that for simple things. And I still like to use Picmonkey after uploading - somehow things often look different after they are posted? So - I do like it and I think it will get better as I learn more about it. The 2018 is definitely worth the extra so that's the one I'm going to download onto the travelling laptop. I think the price is pretty good for something that you don't have to keep paying for each month. Thanks so much for your original input and continued help - it's been so useful. Cheers for now. Rob
@robz Glad it was useful, you'll be telling me what to do soon! Am going to attempt infrared conversion tomorrow but my version doesn't have a channel mixer. Could be interesting!
@fbailey That sounds really interesting. I googled some infra -red images and they look so different. I hope you have a success - will look forward to seeing it!! :)
