The current Technique91 Challenge has a theme of "Combined Knowledge" - it has been fascinating to look at some of my photos and realize how many odds and ends of photographic knowledge I have picked up in 2 and a half years. What a wonderful hobby and what a lovely group of people you are!! Many, heartfelt thanks!
For the challenge: This is SOOC but to me it combined all of these ideas: shooting into the sun to produce silhouettes, using the concept of multiplicity, having mainly monochromic colours and using negative space to give a feeling of minimalism.
Very atmospheric. A thought out image. I don't normally spend a great deal of time working out shots, I see something and shoot it. My usual thoughts are, perspective, framing and avoid having to crop.
