@fbailey Hi FB - it is - and it's the first go at using a UV filter on it. I'm really pleased with it - it seems to allow more contrast and makes it easier to focus with the close-up images. And the sky's not as noisy either. I think it might be worth a try with a polarizing filter too? What do you reckon? :)
@robz So you took it with the IR camera but put a filter on as well? This is certainly a new one on me, but I like the result. I would never have thought of this, the colouring is more subtle. Are you experimenting with different lenses too? You are really inventive with this camera, I just point, shoot and hope!! A polariser would cut down glare, look forward to seeing your results:)
@fbailey Hi again FB - I'm starting to enjoy this camera more than my normal one - probably because it's more unpredictable. The girls gave me 3 ND filters and 1 UV filter for Mother's Day - so that's what I've been playing with. I've only got the one lens - they seem very expensive so I'll probably just stick with the one. Unless I win lotto! Thanks for your interest. Cheers Rob
