Solarized this time. The effect is due to tone reversal and was first observed in cases of extreme overexposure of the photographic film in the camera. To me it seems most pleasing when the changes occur in the midtone region.
Babs @onewing introduced me to this interesting format with her wonderful series of city shots.
@granagringa Ah - how well spotted by you Madeline. :) I don't have an automatic Solarize feature. So it was trial and error. I found that I liked the solarized ones better if they had a bit of a backlit appearance. So I eventually fiddled around with part transparencies and part back lighting filters.
