A different version... by robz

A different version...

IR images sometimes invert in a lovely way... They often seem to be a bit grainy but it somehow works anyway....
This is the same image and yet they look so different. How?

@fbailey Thanks FB - problem identified. I quite like them most of the time but at least now I know what they are and can avoid them if needed. Thanks so much! Cheers Rob

@clifford Hi Cliff - this is the same photo, but it's been inverted in an editing program. It's like converting it to a negative image. Blacks go white, whites go black etc. I have to admit that I find the process quite addictive... Cheers Rob

@onewing Thanks Babs - I've tried to do a "sort of" solarized version too. I'll post it tomorrow. Thanks again for doing your great solarized series - it was quite a challenge to try to do something similar. :)

@olivetreeann Hi Ann - it did do something strange to the background - made it look a bit alien... It's interesting how you never quite know what going to happen.. Cheers Rob

@carole_sandford Thanks Carole - sometimes they work out well - and sometimes they're a bit awful...

@shutterbug49 Hi Debbie - yes - it was originally IR and then inverted. The two steps seem to work quite well sometimes. Cheers Rob
