Just a trial image to see how the longer exposures adapt to the b&w format for the b&w-18 challenge. The loss of colour actually seemed to emphasize the movement. I thought I would post this to the tag just so there was something there!
So impressive that you can do this with your camera..very effectiven and the B&W really does add to the motion. I really like this...and good idea of subject for this good idea challenge.
@granagringa Thanks Madeline for all of these lovely positive thoughts!! It was a bit daunting trying to think of what may be a suitable topic - bit out of my depth I fear!! So I'm pleased you think it was a good idea. It seemed like it might be OK for some ICM shots too. be interesting to see if they survive in b&w. Cheers
@robz I'm reading your comment above and sitting here wondering what a good subject be...hmmm...I definitely need inspiration on this one...ICM, zoom burst, moving horses....hmm...good challenge. I'm looking forward to see what folks come up with, including myself...lol.
Zoom burst sounds interesting. And would you believe that Mona suggested I check one of the settings on my camera - I had tried it much, much earlier and it didn't mean anything to me - I now know that 15" means a 15 sec exposure time!! How cool is that - it goes up to 15 secs!! Like you I will be interested to see what appears. And to try some new things! Cheers again.
