Royal Albert Hall by rosiekerr

Royal Albert Hall

Day one of London touring. Happy to see that my eldest is doing well and seems to be enjoying living in London... who could blame him? Lots of history viewed today - what an amazing city, so charming and unique.

The interior of the Royal Albert Hall, several shots, hand-held during a tour, but stitched together as a pano in Photoshop. An amazing historical space, with the capacity to seat over 6,000 people.

My apologies for being a relative absent 365er right now, but I am giving priority to my family and world-class location.

Thanks for stopping by - I appreciate it!
Beautiful! FAV!

@maggiemae Maybe I should have used my iPhone for a pano.... this was a super gorgeous structure, with so much history. You are on a journey too, so delightful!

@cejaanderson Apparently, this is the second largest pipe organ in the UK, so it pretty impressive. The acoustics come from the mushroomy things hanging from the roof. I appreciate your comments. :)

I love the RAH, looks very cool at night when those big mushroom lights are on.

This is incredible -- and that you are doing a pano while on vacation after touring all day, also incredible. Have a great time! Fortnum & Mason for tea is great fun. Try the 'royal blend' if you like black tea. I assume you're going on the London Eye too? What a fun city to explore!
