Old State House

Another view from Boston's Freedom Trail - the Old State House.

Built in 1713, this is the oldest surviving building in Boston. The Boston Massacre happened right outside underneath the balcony, in 1770. The Declaration of Independence was read for the first time from the balcony on July 18, 1776.
