What a lovely couple

There is a ledge where swans, ducks and geese sit and preen themselves and Mrs Mallard was standing there until Mr Mallard came along and "swanned off" with her (forgive the pun). I thought they made a handsome couple. It was a grey old day today so I thought they looked quite bright and beautiful! What more can I say? Thanks for looking and commenting

They do look beatiful. I noticed today, on a stretch of river that always has crowds of duck, that all the ones there were in couples!

Mallards are always a welcome sight, even if they over-populate some areas. It's nice to see them in pairs, too!

Lovely. I like the juxtaposition of the glassy water and the rough, algae-covered rocks. And the ducks, of course. Ducks never fail to make me smile. :)
