The geraniums that we kept in the conservatory over the winter are now outside our front door and this is just one of them (probably not the best) but I liked the DOF in this one. I have been to Cambridge today to handle what will be my new camera to check the weight etc with a 70-300mm lens and it's lovely! I've ordered it from Amazon though as it's so much cheaper and if there are any problems, they will sort things out without any problems. Oh I'm so excited! I didn't take my camera to Cambridge as I thought I might be bringing one back with me and didn't want to lug everything about with me so I didn't take any pics while I was there which was a shame. I've enjoyed the first day of my week's holiday as the weather has been lovely
@lynnb I shall have a steep learning curve after using my bridge camera but I'm going to have a day's 1:1 tuition with a professional photographer so that I can get going practically straight away as it will be my first DSLR
