I'm sure that you are wondering what on earth do I mean!!! I was busy taking this pic because I liked the look of this funghi and when I straightened myself up after crouching down, what did I see? Behind the tree where a branch had fallen over, there sat a kingfisher! You guessed it, he flew away as soon as he saw me and I didn't get a shot of him. I was so disappointed as the sunlight was shining beautifully on his lovely turquoise feathers! However, I'm right to keep going back to the same spot along the brook as that is where I saw him when I captured him on 21 August
