This was taken along Wood Lane today. I was asked by a man down there whether I was taking pictures from his side of the lane and I said that I was taking pictures of birds so he went in. He is obviously foreign and probably knows that he doesn't have permission to live on the land down there so is concerned that I might be from the authorities. Unfortunately, there are several people living down there who do not have planning permission for the properties on the land so I suspect that is why they are suspicious of me. I think I may be too polite to people because really there is no law against taking photographs in the countryside (well not that I know anyway!).
Anyway, this little robin posed nicely in the sunlight
A seasonal beauty. There's no law against it anyway - cheeky devil. I must say though that I didn't get my camera out when we found ourselves walking through major traveller territory - shame as there were some nice gypsy horses - in fact we were followed down the road by one!
Very pretty...love the light on it. Surprised that they would be worried about you taking photos as it would just take a trip from the authorites at any time, if they cared to leave their offices, to see people living illegally.
