Woody is a regular visitor to the nuts which hang from the washing line outside my kitchen window. He always enjoys a good tuck in and Mrs Woody also comes. I'm pretty sure that they have a nest nearby so I'm looking out for some little ones.
I walked over to Dovecote Lake today having parked my car in the car park at the National Trust Dovecote and Stables as I can't walk too far still due to my foot. Unfortunately, I'm now paying for it because obviously I walked too far despite taking the car part of the way. It's just so frustrating!

Oh this is beautiful, did you say he was in your garden? I have to go to a NT property to get a woody woodpecker, maybe just as well since I have a cat :0)
