I saw this little fellow in a field down Wood Lane. I sometimes do see him but he usually bolts off before I can get any shots. Today however, he seemed mesmerised for a few seconds so that I got a few shots of him. I saw him twice as I saw him when I was going up the lane and this one was taken when I came back. They are such shy little creatures but I do love them and it does make a change from robins! I must admit I took a load of shots of robins as I know now exactly where they sit and sing to each other. The lane is alive with robin song at the moment and it's a real treat to hear them. I can understand why they advise people suffering from depression to go out for a walk in the countryside as I find it very uplifting!
Thanks to everyone for your kind comments and Favs and for getting yesterday's robin on PP. It is a real honour to get my shots on there and I really do appreciate it. I'm off to Camera Club tonight so it will be early dinner so I shall have to catch up later
OH DEER, great capture and an instant FAV. I've bumped into deer when I'm out in the countryside, but they have usually scarpered by the time I've got my camera out.
How exciting and what a great capture Rosie, fav. (I'm really sorry I'll miss the next London meet up as I'll be away but hope you have a great day and the weather is kinder than it was to us last time!!)
