I'm not really inspired today as I have come home from work to find that the insurance company who are supposed to be insuring Steve's classic cars have lost all the photos I sent them by "We transfer". The internet is so slow here that it is going to take nearly an hour to upload them so you can imagine how thrilled I am! Because you have to show the mileage which can't be seen from a head on photo, I've had to send more than I would have had to if they were modern cars. I feel so frustrated because my laptop is completely stuffed up so I'm having to use my "expensive" one which is so slow despite supposedly having more memory and a faster processor!!!!
Anyway, here is my offering for today which I quickly took although I did get some shots of Mr Robin with his caterpillars for the little ones but thought I ought not post another one so soon.
When I arrived at work this morning, my so called "Team Leader" said that I needed to complete a survey regarding how many people I've helped with housing issues. However, I have been so busy tidying up as I'm not back to work until 5 May so I didn't have time to do it and I wasn't going to stay late when I realised that she had had the survey since 8 April. Surely she could have given it to me at least a couple of weeks ago. You can see why I feel so annoyed.
Thanks for supporting my project and your patience!
Great shot. Photographs use up a lot of memory on the computer..... have you tried deleting some unwanted photographs...... may help with the speed. Just a thought.... deep breathes & enjoy your holiday,
@dizzyd I transfer my pics every month onto a portable hard drive and delete them from my laptop. The laptop is running fine but the internet here is absolutely rubbish! It keeps dropping out too so I was lucky it didn't do that when I transferred the photos to the insurance company
I was trying to capture a bird in the food court at the mall. He was in the rafters over one of the vendors. Not getting food from that vendor they had no cover on their food. ICK
I love this chap - I have a real soft spot for black birds and blackbirds and the like.
I sympathize with the crappy day - hopefully things will improve quickly
