Mr Black was tearing round the garden and I think he was thinking of getting on the bird feeders. When he saw me looking at him, decided to stop for a minute and try to look innocent! He obviously changed his mind about the bird feeders and went over to his squirrel box and helped himself to breakfast so he wasn't being naughty this morning!
Mr Black is better on black if you have the time. In the meantime, thank you for all your kind comments and Favs
I imagine photographing a black squirrel can be like photographing a black cat or dog - i.e. it's difficult to get the exposure right! I think your exposure here is spot on Rosie, and he's very cute!
Your exposure is just perfect, Rosie. I have a black dog, so I know how tricky photographing a black animal can be. You did a beautiful job. I dream of seeing a black squirrel on our property someday. We've seen Gray Squirrels and Fox Squirrels, but no black so far. They've been showing up in nearby communities, so I'm hopeful! Following.
