Not brilliant images but I am uploading some of my holiday pics as I got back from France last night. These shots were taken as I rode on the train from Geneva to Amberieu and fortunately the journey going was much better than the one returning. It all went very well when I got off the plane in Geneva and got onto the train to take me to Geneva Rail Station. I couldn't find the ticket machine to take a free ticket but someone said that it was only 3 swiss francs(although fortunately they take Euros) if I paid. Anyway, I boarded the train and didn't see anyone so didn't pay anything!
Then I found my way to the Platform to board the train for Amberieu and got talking to 3 ladies from California who always do a tour of Europe each year. They had a good idea how to get about so I was pleased to meet up with them. I had taken a note of which stations I would pass so that I knew when it was imminent that I needed to get off as I had a suitcase and a backpack with my camera gear.
It was great to see my brother and sister in law who were waiting for me at the station.
