This is one from Saturday as it is far too cold, windy and wet to step outside for a walk around the village. This is the kestrel that flew down on the ground when I was busy photographing the horses and he just caught my eye before flying off.
Thanks for getting yesterday's horse on PP and also for the suggestion of names for him. I think I will call him over using the names Flash or Blaze and see which one he prefers but that will have to be another day when it's not such awful weather.
I think I have finally made a decision about stopping work. I went in today and after I had managed to get near my desk due to other people's rubbish blocking my way, I had to move things as it was obstructing the fire door which is not far from my desk. I really have had enough now so have decided to give my notice at the end of the month with a view to finishing at the end of March which will work out OK with the end of the financial year. Aren't I thoughtful, making it easy for my employers!
Rosie - what a loss to your work place (I shall keep stum). But for us - there will be no end to your wonderful images now. This well captured kestrel is quite intent on something.
Beautiful shot of the Kestrel he must of know that you needed a bird photo.
