I've had a busy day ironing the kitchen/diner curtains that I washed yesterday and rehanging them. Then I did a bit of gardening before deciding I'd had enough so I went to sit in the coolness of the brook where of course I saw the kingfishers. However, they weren't very active and I only saw them a couple of times in the space of an hour and a half. This is why I decided to post a quick shot of the goldfinches in the garden as I thought you might be getting a bit fed up of kingfisher although I can't resist posting one in my other album.

The bird activity in the garden has really slowed down. Perhaps it’s the heat. The goldfinches have been absent for the last few days! Lovely capture!
