The blackbirds and doves like this feeder because they can balance on the tray and have a tuck in. Some of the other feeders make it hard work for them which is why I have various types of feeders for different kinds of birds. The blackbirds can manage to just about balance on the suet ball feeder so they are quite adaptable.
