The delphiniums are just coming in to flower. I do hope the wind doesn't spoil them as they look so lovely. I grew them from seed when we first moved in about 9 years ago and they come up year after year. I love cottage garden type flowers and I also grew lupins as well. The hollyhocks have taken a lot to get going but foxgloves flower and seed all over the place so we always have plenty of them.
The purples are beautiful and the flowers look so delicate. It's a lovely image. I'm envious of your foxgloves -- ours have not been able to take hold.
