Dragonfly

I think this is either a common darter or a ruddy darter according to my dragonfly book entitled "Dragonflies of Bedfordshire" by Steve Cham. I saw it at Priory Country Park this afternoon when I took Big Bertha for her first real outing.

Same as seen in Portugal we discussed this this afternoon as unusual red I will now confirm to my friend that it is a dragon fly
