EVEN MOSTA REMEMBERS

Memorial erected in Mosta (Malta) to commemorate Mosta people who fell through enemy fire during World War II - there names are inscribed on tableaux around the base of the statue. There are several memorials across the Island commemorating this sad event in world history

@jenrobcarr @chamal Thanks. Yes Jennifer, Malta was in the middle of the fighting at a certain period - at the time most of the lay Maltese who were not manning the anti-aircraft guns or doing other military duties spent most of the day and night in rock cut shelters some 3 storeys below street level.
