What better way can there be to end this series on our Hungary/Austria tour than a picture of this magnificent river, the second longest in Europe (after the Volga).
The Danube originates in the Black Forest in Germany and empties in the Black Sea via the Danube Delta. Its course takes it through Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia , Serbia, Bulgaria, Moldova, Ukraine and Romania.
A tribute also to the great composer, Johann Strauss, who composed the most beautiful waltz of all times – The Blue Danube ( though the blue seems to have vanished)
Altogether, during this trip I took some 1400 pictures (1000 less than a friend of mine who was with us) which would have filled 4 years of 365 project had I posted them all. I have tried to select the best and most pleasing. Hope you have all liked my selection.
Will not be on the computer for the next week but will pick up from where I left. Hope you’ll still bet there on my return. Till then take care all of you.
