Another title inspired by one of the songs written by the greatest beat group that ever existed – The Beatles. The beauty of the groups’ songs does not match, however, the beautifully scenery we saw as we trekked along the mountain. Reminds us how great God is to create all this beauty which we see all around us and for which we are hardly thankful.
This song is one the last Beatles songs written by Paul McCartney and is based on the tensions which were increasingly evident in the group before it broke up. It was recorded in 1969 as a fairly simple ballad. The Beatles performed this song in the movie ‘Let it be’. Both the movie and album were the last The Beatles released.
Thank you all so very much for looking and for your lovely comments on my pictures.
And, if I'm not mistaken, the title and first line referred to the road that led to Paul's grandmother's house. I'd have to clarify that with my husband who has an aptitude for remembering these bits of trivia! What a beautiful sight! The air must have been so crisp there- the colors are so bright! Stunning shot!
