Took this shot from the top of the ramparts, namely from St Sebastian Bastion, but looking in the opposite direction to the walk I made below and the pictures I posted in this series. The building down there is the ‘Al Mare’ Restaurant which serves food both outside and inside. The building is a former Police Station, and served also as a Customs Excise Office. I have tried to find information on this building but found nothing. The other archaded buildings behind the restaurant are fishermen stores and huts as well as the canoe club where JP and Ian and many of their friends keep their kayaks. In the background is the Manoel Island Yacht Marina which takes big-sized yachts.
Thank you so much for looking and for your wonderful comments on yesterday’s picture.
I love the color of the water! And the sunny atmosphere. It must be delightful to catch a bite to eat at that restaurant on a day like this. Nice shot!
