Posting late, today, because of internet problems. My internet router was busted. Ian has restored my connection.
16th July: Gran Paradiso. Just a few km away from Cogne is the Lalazza waterfall which we went to visit. It is part of the Lalazza torrent which flows down to Cogne and beyond.
The first shot on the left shows the steep climb to the waterfall. Beneath it are som kayakers ready to brave the rapids. On the right is the waterfall which I calculate has at least an 80-foot drop. Very dramatic.
