This little green grasshopper stood there in the back of a chair and waited for me to go get the camera and take some shots. Then he gave me a wink and flew away.
Yesterday was a normal day for me. In Valletta there were the official celebrations of Victory day and in the afternoon in the Grand Harbour there was the annual regatta with races between Maltese dghajsas. The tradition goes back to the 16th century to celebrate victory over the Turkish invaders.
I had intention to go and take some shots but was too lazy and instead watched the Spanish Vuelta on tv. I've haven't been to watch the regatta since my youth.
Thank you very much for looking and for your lovely comments on yesterday's picture. Tomorrow I will continue with my picture-narrative on our vacation to the Valle d'Aosta.
Great capture Dione! He must have known how well you take pictures as he so patiently waited for you to get the camera and take the shot before moving on!
