BOARDS

The Fortifications Interpretation Centre is basically made up of large boards showing an outline of the structure, development and history of fortifications in Malta. For mor indepth knowledge there are monitors in various sections where one could obtain more detailed knowledge of the subject. This board shows - on the left - the Cottonera (for Grand Master Nicholas Cottoner - in the middle) Lines which have not been fully completed and on the right the plan of Valletta and hits fortifications.
a library placed on the top floor of the restored 3-storey building will eventually group in one place all the literature in Malta on the subject.
Thank you very much for looking and for your continuous support on my project.

For a "small" island Malta has a fascinating history. Is Nicholas Cottoner wearing a cross from the Knights of St. John in the picture? Or is it a different order- or maybe not an order at all? It just caught my eye.
