A few days ago, Ian (my son-in-law) invited me to go with him to a photoshoot with some of his friends. They formed part of a group who were taking some lectures (against a fee) on Photoshop. I felt a bit like a fish out of water as I hadn’t paid for the lectures, so I kept my distance from the others. But I took my own shots the way I liked them without any set rules.
This is one of the shots I took while the small group were setting up their tripods and getting their instructions from their lecturer – he is the one with the white shirt pointing in my direction.
In the coming days I will show a few of the many shots I took. The area is just below Fort St. Angelo in Birgu (Vittoriosa)
The match of the day, yesterday, was England vs Uruguay. What a hardy fought match it was!!! The English played well but not as well as when they played against Italy. The Uruguayans fought tooth and nail for every ball and very aggressive and this paid off. Besides they have a stunning goal scorer in Luis Suarez. End result 2 – 1 for Uruguay and the chances for England to pass through this phase are pretty slim.
Thank you very much for looking and for your lovely comments and fav’s on yesterday’s picture.
What a lovely capture of the group and looks like they're doing some serious shooting! I bet is was a great learning experience not only for them but you as well. x
This must have been a pretty interesting day - hope you get to see your son-in-laws shots to see what they were being told. Bet yours are every bit as good!
Great shot and a great opportunity to learn so more . I wish to as I`m not well know with the possibilities of my new camera. Although my first photo rule is: a good pic. starts by a good look.
@ivan Thank you for your comments, Ivan. It wasn't only England. There are several big names that flopped up till now. Italy were disastrous in their next match and non of the big shots excelled.
Hope they learned slot.
