The outer part of the marina at the Birgu Waterfront is reserved for the larger yachts. This schooner had very tall masts and I liked how the setting sun shone on them leaving the hull in complete shade. I focused mainly on Senglea church in the distance. The stairs on the right are of another lovely yacht. I thought they added some flavour to the shot.
World Cup match of the day, yesterday, was Italy vs Costa Rica. Chapeau (hats off) to Costa Rica who made it a double after beating Uruguay previously. Italy were very disappointing and deserved to lose. England are now mathematically eliminated while Italy and Uruguay have to fight it out for who takes second place and continue to the next phase. France vs Switzerland was also a delightful game with seven goals scored which would have been eight had not the referee blown the final whistle while the shot was going into goal.
