6.20AM AND STILL SLEEPING

What do you expect on a Sunday.
Saturday before last I resolved to wake up early next day to go and take some shots of sunrise before we revert to winter time. So, Sunday morning, I got up grabbed the camera and rushed to Spinola where I had already decided on the spot where I would set up my tripod and camera. It was rather disappointing from the beginning when I saw those low clouds.
This shot is from the steps leading to sea level just below the promenade.

The one good thing about a winter sunrise is you don't have to get up quite so early! And regardless of the time of year, cloud cover can always disappoint! I do like the mix of soft lighting here.
