Tuscany holiday– day 6
Another shot from Montepulciano. Remember the narrative goes back to the beginning of August.
Preparations were underway to erect stage and seatings for an open air concert/show in the Piazza Grande (or Main Square) of Montepulciano. Piazza Grande is one of the most impressive squares in Tuscany. It is surrounded by 15th century buildings including the town hall, clock tower, and duomo as well as cafes and a wine tasting shop.
The Town Hall, partially visible on the left of the picture – at least the architecture - is a marvellous copy of the Palazzo della Signoria in Florence.
Thank you very much for looking and for the lovely comments and the fav's on yesterday's picture.
