AN ESCORT WORTHY OF A KING

Took this shot last Sunday at the Jum Lapsi festivity.
This colourful detachment of soldiers (just actors), led by 3 officers on horseback marched down to the landing place to meet the Grandmaster. I love these re-enactments and all the colourful paraphernalia which accompanied Kings centuries ago – the Grandmaster of the Order was considered as a king by the inhabitants
Joke: A Sergeant was addressing a squad of 25 and said: "I have a nice easy job for the laziest man here. Put up your hand if you are the laziest." 24 men raised their hands, and the sergeant asked the other man "why didn't you raise your hand?" The man replied: "Too much trouble raising the hand, Sarge.".
