Shot taken on day 7 of our Black Forest vacation – 2st July 2015
After Mainau Island we proceeded to the town of Konstanz. One of the buildings had this wonderful mural covering the whole façade from first floor up. I thought it would make a lovely framed picture.
It was hot at the stadium yesterday and even hotter because of the fever we were in. Azerbaijan were first to score after some 30 minutes play and we saw our hopes floundering. But Malta played well and we got the equaliser in the second half and a further goal after that. We were in a frenzy until Azerbaijan got a second goal, too, with the match ending 2 – 2. All in all it was a merited draw for both sides.
Joke: A Briton, a Frenchman and a Russian are admiring a mural painting of Adam and Eve frolicking in the Garden of Eden. "Look at their reserve, their calm," muses the Brit. "They must be British."
"Nonsense," the Frenchman disagrees. "They're naked, and so beautiful. Clearly, they are French."
"No way! They have no clothes and no shelter," the Russian points out, "They have only an apple to eat, and they are being told they live in a paradise. Obviously, they are Russian."
