No. But it is Michaela - she is singing during the St Julian’s Scouts Summer campfire show. Doesn’t she look like a professional? Michaela is 12 years old and my pride granddaughter.
Her scouts group went for a week’s camp a few days ago. On the day before they broke camp the group set up a show in which all the campers participated according to their talents. We joined JP and Louise at the campfire to watch Michaela Interpreting perferctly two songs solo and dancing during another presentation. We had a great time watching the show, too.
Joke: The scouts group, camping in a field away from all habitations were ready for their annual campfire show. Suddenly, on stage, Satan appeared!! Everyone started screaming and ran to the closest hiding place available trampling each other in their determined efforts to get away from Evil Incarnate. Soon, the area was empty except for one man – the old scouts leader - who sat calmly in the front seat of the area where the show was to take place, seemingly oblivious to the fact that God's ultimate enemy is in his presence. The scouts from their hiding places were proud of their leader for his courage.
The scouts leader’s stance confused Satan a bit. Satan walked up to the man and said, "Hey, don't you know who I am?" The man said, "Yep, sure do."
Satan said, "Well, aren't you afraid of me?" The man replied, "Nope, sure ain't."
Satan, perturbed, reiterated, "And why aren't you afraid of me?" The man said, "Well, I've been married to your sister for 25 years."
Great collage of your granddaughter and wonderful for her to look back on in her later years!! Wish I could sing, but when I do, my husband goes out on the deck. I asked him why he always went out there when I was singing and he told me it was to prove to the neighbors that he wasn't beating me!!!! Guess I can't carry a tune!!! LOL FAV!
