Decorations in the house are now ready – and this only thanks to Christine who doesn’t allow anyone to do it for her.
This is a selfie in my corner of our ‘everyday’ living room where the family meets decorated with the Christmas Tree and the Baby Jesus. I am sitting in my favourite armchair.
Yesterday’s was the last shot from my Sicily holiday. I didn’t want to end it that way. I had a short video taken by Ian on his mob of me having fun with a group of Sicilians which I treasure and which I wanted to share. I have been trying to save it on my computer for quite some time but I couldn’t do that. I am not a computer nerd and Ian sent it to me as an html file – probably read only.
Joke: After being away on business for a week before Christmas, Joe thought it would be nice to bring his wife a little gift.
"How about some perfume?" he asked the cosmetics clerk.
She showed him a bottle costing 100 Euros.
"That's a bit much," said Joe, so she returned with a smaller bottle for 50 Euros.
"That’s still quite a bit," Joe groused.
Growing disgusted and very agitated, the clerk brought out a tiny 20 Euro bottle.
Hardly knowing how to say it, Joe said "What I mean, is I'd like to see something real cheap.”
So the clerk, who couldn’t take it any more, handed him a mirror.
Thank you so much for looking, for the lovely comments and fav's on yesterdays picture and for putting it on tp and pp. You are a wonderful community.
