Shot taken on Sunday before last, the last day of our Gozo weekend.
Ford Anglia was the first car I bought and that was in 1966 – so many years ago and it seems like it was yesterday.
The story: Sunday morning we went for a walk at Xlendi and on our way back to the car we saw a few classic cars gathered along the side walk. One of them was a Ford Anglia, impeccably kept. I took shots of it from the front and from the back and with the help of Photoshop and a lot of patience I merged one shot from the front and another from the back into one picture. The guys having a drink at the table on both sides are the same people and the car behind the Anglia – a Ford Escort – is also the same. I think the result is rather cute.
Thank you so much for looking and for your lovely comments and the fav's on yesterday's picture.
Great processing, I can see the mirror reverse now you have said. My mum and dad had an Anglia for their first car, I was too young to remember. Fav for Amazing processing Dione.
Great shot of this nice car. Mine was a Fiat 850.
The people was behind me and I waited that the two walkers was out of the capture. In fact , It amaze me the amount of people there are on a Sunday afternoon.
Not bad with the stitching there! Cool car- and I can picture you a few years younger feeling rather dapper in that sporty ride. I bet you turned a few heads!
