Our 5th day (25th July) was a day of leisure and we needed it. Having come down from the Schmittenhohe we took a boat trip around Lake Zell – I took many shots but nothing of really particular interest. After that we had the rest of the day free to stroll around Zell am See. Christine and I, with another couple went for a stroll along the shores of the lake and came to this band stand where a students’ band was getting ready to give a concert. We sat down on chairs in front of the band stand and listened them execute the beautiful Triumphal March from the opera Aida and they did a very good job. Then they started playing ‘Magic Flute’ (Mozart’s composition) but we left a few minutes after.
How do I know it was the ‘Magic Flute’? It was written on the music paper.
I liked this shot especially because you can read the music very clearly (which I can’t)| A played with it a bit and came out with this image.
And this is my last shot for the 5th day of our vacation. Tomorrow I will start with some shots from Malta and then continue with day 6.
